I am a western and wildlife artist with an interest in history and historical events. I love to share my artwork and stories with others. I try to put on canvas the scenes, stories and wildlife I see around me. Born and raised in Montana I have a unique opportunity to experience both scenery and animals in person. My trips to the mountains, side roads and prairies are an inspiration for my art. Every year I add newly learned techniques to my paintings. I try to paint a small value painting then transfer that to a larger canvas. I value my wife, children and other family members’ critiques of my work. I also enjoy forging, foundry work, fishing, photography and hanging with my family.
